Policies
How we handle discrimination, accessibility, instructor disclosure, intellectual property, learner records, course completion, support and complaints.
Non-discrimination
Kugan & Associates, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law, in the enrollment, participation, assessment, or completion of any of its training.
Accessibility and accommodations
Learners who need an accommodation to participate should contact kugan@kugan.com before enrolling, or at any point during a course. Requests are handled confidentially.
Instructor disclosure
Kugan Panchadsaram, PE, PMP develops and delivers our courses. Neither he nor Kugan & Associates, Inc. holds a financial or proprietary interest in any product, instrument, device, software, or material referenced in the training, and no commercial support, sponsorship, or endorsement fee is received.
Third-party software, forms, and publications named in a course are identified for instructional purposes only.
Intellectual property
All course materials are the property of Kugan & Associates, Inc. unless otherwise credited. Learners may download and print materials for their own use; redistribution, resale, or use in other training requires written permission.
Where third-party material is used, permission is obtained and the source is cited within the course. Government publications such as EM 385-1-1 and ENG forms are in the public domain and are used as published.
Learner records, privacy and security
We maintain a record of each learner’s name, course title, completion date, and credits awarded, and keep it available to the learner for no less than seven years. Records are held in our learning management system with routine backup.
We do not release a learner’s records to a third party without the learner’s written request, except where required by law. To request a copy of your records, or their release to another party, email kugan@kugan.com with your name and the course title.
Course access and completion
Learning outcomes, completion requirements, and credits awarded are published on each course page before you enroll.
Courses expire 30 days from first log-in, and extensions are not available. Completion requires submitting the assigned work, passing the final examination at 80% (two attempts permitted), and completing the course evaluation. A certificate of completion is issued on successful completion.
